What is the difference between your two room types?+
Cosmo and BLK Maze are our compact rooms, great for vocal tracking and writing sessions. Legacy is our largest room with more space for collaborative work and group sessions. All three share the same professional microphones, monitors, and software. The main difference is size and the vibe you want while recording.
What does the hourly rate cover?+
The rate covers the room, a professional condenser microphone, studio monitors, headphones, and your choice of Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton with a full plugin suite. No hidden fees for the room itself. The only add-on is a Reboost Engineer at $25 per hour if you want a pro handling the session for you.
How does the Night Lockout rate work?+
Night Lockout runs from midnight to 9 a.m. You get the same room and gear at a lower rate because those hours are quieter. Cosmo and BLK Maze start at $13 per hour on Monday through Wednesday nights, and Legacy starts at $17 per hour. A lot of our artists prefer recording late at night when the building is calm and there are fewer distractions.
Which prepaid package makes the most sense?+
Rising Star gives you 16 hours at $28 per hour, enough for tracking and mixing a handful of songs. VIP is our best value at 30 hours for $26 per hour, which covers a full project from scratch. Icon packs 50 hours at $24.50 per hour for artists who are in the studio regularly. All three are prepaid and booked online at any available slot.
Is this studio right for someone who has never recorded before?+
That is exactly who we built this place for. Our team sets up the room before you arrive, walks you through the equipment, and handles the technical side so you can focus on your performance. If you add a Reboost Engineer, they run the entire session. Just bring your lyrics, a reference track, and your ideas.
